You activate the motor when you pedal, and it will either assist you, or it can power you along without pedaling.

If you are wondering if you still get a workout, the answer is yes. The Vinka motor can be used to give you a low level of assistance (lower power usage which extends the battery life), giving you a great workout where you can go further and for longer periods of time.

We are proud to be able to bring to the market place a very significantly lower priced e-bike without having to cut any corners.
Each bike can have a slightly different configuration. Some have hub motors where the motor is within the hub of the rear wheel and better suited to flat locations.
Others have mid range, where the motor is positioned in the middle of the bike and has more torque and better suited for hillier or off road terrain.
Ebikes generally come with two different sensors. Cadence sensors or Torque sensors.
Torque sensors regulate the motor based on how hard you are pushing the pedals.
Good bikes have torque sensors and this allows you to attack steeper terrains.
Very few bikes come with both types of sensors.
Cadence sensors are better suited to flat areas and work off how fast you pedal.
There are also a number of accessories you can add to any bike and you can purchase additional batteries to suit your needs.
